The Governor's Lyme Disease Advisory Council was created by PL 1991, Chapter 27 to advise the Governor regarding the prevention, detection, occurrence, treatment and cure of Lyme Disease and shall establish a mechanism through which physicians and communities throughout the State can share information on the disease.
The Governor's Council on Lyme Disease is a statutorily created body of concerned government officials and public representatives appointed by the Governor who have heightened awareness of the impact of Lyme Disease on the citizens of new Jersey. The purpose of the Council is to:
