Victoria Brogan assumed the role of Director, Office of Legislative Services, New Jersey Department of Health, on February 26, 2011. The Office supports the Office of the Commissioner and is responsible for providing detailed analysis and reviews of pending legislation, and consulting and corresponding with other government officials, industry representatives and the general public to explain and receive comments on policy proposals as well as existing policies.
Ms. Brogan holds over 16 years of public experience in state government. Ms. Brogan previously served as Senior Research Associate to the New Jersey State Senate Republican Office and Policy Advisory to the New Jersey Assembly Republican Office. Ms. Brogan served as committee aide and advisor to the Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee, Senate Education Committee, Senate State Government Committee, Senate Labor Committee, Assembly Baking and Insurance Committee, Assembly Education Committee, and Assembly Labor Committee. Victoria was responsible for preparing strategic detailed background memos for legislative members on various federal and state policy issues, and negotiated with outside interest groups and Governor’s Council on legislation on behalf of her legislative membership.
Victoria obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Assembly College.
