THE
INTERGENERATIONAL
SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM
(ISBP)
The
Intergenerational School Breakfast Program (ISBP) pairs
mature adult volunteers with Pre-K through
3rd grade children participating in their school breakfast programs.
ISBP
volunteers interact with the children by reading books
and engaging the children in activities and discussions that
promote good nutrition.
The
program has a different nutrition topic for each month
of the school year.
A
variety of nutrition education pamphlets, coloring pages and
incentives are provided to the children that participate.
