Reports were received from 43 nursing homes from the following counties: Atlantic (2), Bergen (1), Burlington (2), Camden (2), Cape May (4), Cumberland (4), Gloucester (1), Hudson (1), Hunterdon (4), Middlesex (1), Monmouth (5), Morris (2), Passaic (2), Salem (4), Sussex (4), Union (3), and Warren (1).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among nursing home residents was 2.47%, which was up from 1.69% last week.

Reports were received from 43 hospital emergency departments from the following counties: Atlantic (4), Burlington (1), Camden (3), Cape May (1), Cumberland (3), Essex (1), Gloucester (1), Hudson (9), Hunterdon (1), Mercer (3), Monmouth (2), Morris (3), Ocean (2), Passaic (3), Salem (1), Sussex (2), Union (2) and Warren (1).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among Emergency Department patients was 9.13%, which was up from 8.60% last week.
There have been four isolates of influenza A virus reported in New Jersey so far this season, one from McGuire Air Force Base from a resident of Mercer County, and the remainder from Hackensack University Medical Center from residents of Bergen County (New Milford, Hackensack and Elmwood Park).
