The reported influenza-like illness rate among nursing home residents was 4.02%, which is the twelfth report for this flu season. that started on September 23, 2003.

Reports were received from (32) hospital emergency departments from the following counties: Atlantic (1), Cape May (1), Camden (5) Essex (6), Hudson (4), Hunterdon (1) Mercer (1), Middlesex (4) Monmouth (1), Morris (2), Sussex (1), and Union (5).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among Emergency Department patients was 9.78%, which is the twelfth for this flu season that started on September 23, 2003.
