Hamburger Safety Tips

Hamburger Safety Tips:
Children 12 years of age and younger are very vulnerable to food illness from undercooked burgers. Always give them burgers that are well done, at home and at restaurants.  Elderly people and people with weak immune systems should only eat burgers that are cooked to an internal temperature of 155°F.

Note: for complaints about retail food establishments (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) please contact your local health department.
