  The Innovation Center provides services to startup and established food companies such as business development, market research, product and process development, workforce development and training, regulations and compliance support, and quality assurance and food safety systems. 

• Rutgers Continuing Professional Education Food Safety Courses
  Rutgers offers food safety courses in Food Science & Product Development, Food Safety and Food Processing, and Food Science for Chefs.  This site includes a link to the “Environment and Public Health” course, the place to learn about training to become a licensed inspector.

• U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  FDA’s website offers information on federal food, drug, and cosmetic regulations, as well as science-based educational information about foodborne disease, recalls, labeling, and a variety of other related topics.

  USDA’s website is a resource on food and agriculture regulations and issues affecting the food system from farm to fork.  Marketing, recalls, irradiation, and foodborne illness information is available.
