The event will feature a presentation by the South Asian Total Health Initiative and dance performance by the Satrangi School of Fusion.  State and local leaders will also address those in attendance.

 

Each September, the Department of Health and Senior Services Office of Minority and Multicultural Health highlights health issues and disparities which are pervasive within New Jersey’s culturally diverse communities. OMMH encourages New Jersey health care providers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, academic institutions and community partners to sponsor events throughout the month to raise awareness of health issues facing New Jersey’s minority communities.
