On Monday, November 28, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Commissioner Mary O’Dowd will join Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning The Dr. Oz Show and cardiac surgeon, to discuss healthy aging with Bergen County seniors.

Commissioner O’Dowd will discuss the Department’s programs that ensure New Jersey seniors have the support they need in their home and community. Dr. Oz will speak about nutritional health for seniors. HealthCorps students will also join Dr. Oz to demonstrate how to create a healthy smoothie and emphasize healthy living across generations.

This event will take place at the Northwest Bergen Senior Activity Center, 46-50 Center Street, Midland Park at 2pm.
