A report on mortality rates for hospitals performing coronary artery bypass graft surgery in New Jersey. Compares death rates for each hospital to the statewide average, and includes mortality rates for individual cardiac surgeons. Includes common questions and answers on cardiac surgery.

- Home Health Compare -U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
A federal database that allows searches of
Medicare-certified home health agencies. Provides information on
Medicare-covered services, date of Medicare approval, type of ownership,
and agency performance on quality-of-care measures. Please note that
newly certified agencies may not appear in the database for several
months.

- New Jersey HMO Performance Report
Performance report on New Jersey’s HMOs and point-of-service plans now published by the Department of Banking and Insurance. Compares plans in areas of preventive care, treatment, and customer satisfaction. New Jersey HMO Performance Report Archive contains earlier reports published by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

New Jersey Health Care Profile
Searchable database of profiles maintained by the Division of Consumer Affairs in the Department of Law and Public Safety. Individual medical doctor, podiatrist and optometrist profiles include practitioner credentials and education, as well as information on any disciplinary actions, hospital restrictions (for medical doctors and podiatrists) and malpractice payments. May also include information on languages spoken, health plans accepted and participation in Medicare and Medicaid.
