NJ’S COLLEGE ACCESS CHALLENGE GRANT
“ TOOLS FOR COLLEGE ACCESS”

Dual Enrollment Incentive Grants

Overview:

The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education funded the Dual Enrollment Initiative Grant program through fiscal 2013. The Dual Enrollment program enabled students to earn college credits while they are still enrolled in high school.  The participating Colleges solicited students individually or operated the program through sustainable partnerships with local school districts.

The Dual Enrollment Initiative Grant program was funded by a three-year Federal grant. The purpose of the program was to create and grow programs that could be self-sustaining after the grant cycle had concluded.

Awards under this grant program have been made to:

  • Cumberland County College
  • Georgian Court University
  • Middlesex County College
  • New Jersey Institute of Technology
  • Passaic County Community College
  • Raritan Valley Community College
  • Rowan University
  • Saint Peter's University
  • Salem Community College
  • William Paterson University of New Jersey
