Program Description:

The Salem County School to Careers program helps young people realize that postsecondary education is critical to

obtaining high-skill, high-wage employment. The program is open to any students between the ages of 16 and 25

who lack a high school diploma. Each morning, the program participants attend their local high school or one of the

county's three adult schools. Three afternoons per week, the students attend Salem Community College, earning

college credit in career-specific or career-skills classes. In the summer, they participate in paid-work experiences
