| Program Description: |
| | Salem County's fifth through twelfth grade students participate in the Annual Salem County Science Fair, sponsored |
| | by Dupont Partners in Science. The fair allows students to apply what they have learned in school. Participants |
| | concentrate on an area of special interest, collecting and analyzing data while following the scientific method. |
| | Students also practice public speaking and presentation skills during an interview with judges. Area teachers and |
| | professionals serve as judges. Students can win savings bonds at this level; successful sixth through twelfth |
| | graders are eligible to continue on to the Delaware Valley Science Fair, where they can win college scholarships. |
