Program Description:

The College Bound program funded by the NJ Commission on Higher Education targets 40 high school students from

the districts of Burlington City and Pemberton Township. The grant supports precollege educational and enrichment

activities to ensure that students complete high school and successfully pursue post-secondary careers in math,

science, or technology. Funds for the grant are designated to provide on-campus programs during the summer and

after-school activities during the academic year. During the summer, students enroll in a 3-credit course, plus

additional supplemental courses including college study skills. The course work varies from year to year providing

new and exciting learning opportunities for students. Students also receive a $350 scholarship upon completion of

the summer program. During the academic year, students are provided academic advisement, tutoring, career
