| Program Description: |
| | The Upward Bound Program is a comprehensive academic support program designed to recruit, retain and motivate |
| | students in grades 9 through 12 to successfully complete high school and prepare to enter and graduate college. |
| | The program provides academic instruction during the academic year in lab sciences, history, foreign language, |
| | mathematics, computer skills and English classes. Standardized preparatory classes are held throughout the |
| | academic year and during the summer program. Tutoring, mentoring, and individual and group counseling classes |
| | are offered. Students also participate in performing arts and recreational activities. |
