| Program Description: |
| | The Upward Bound Program at New Jersey Institute of Technology is a free program funded by the U.S. Department |
| | of Education. The program is designed to a) assist and motivate students to succeed and graduate from high school, |
| | and b) prepare students to enroll and complete a postsecondary education of their choice. It is our goal to |
| | encourage students to pursue careers in the science and technological fields. We offer academic instruction and |
| | tutorial; personal counseling; college planning and placement; financial advising; educational, cultural and recreational |
| | activities; workshops and seminars; and field trips. |
