| Program Description: |
| | The Educational Talent Search Project of Seton Hall University is a federally-funded career and college counseling |
| | program servicing economically disadvantaged students in Newark's public and parochial schools. The Project's |
| | primary goal is to encourage and assist students to apply and gain admission to institutions of higher education, |
| | technical schools, or continuing education programs throughout the United States. Participants are provided with |
| | personal support counseling and the academic and financial aid information necessary for success in college. The |
| | Project also supports other students who are referred to the program via community agencies and other sources. |
