| Program Description: |
| | The Pre-Engineering Program (PrEP) is a four-week project designed to provide post-sixth-grade students with an |
| | introduction to various disciplines in engineering. This program gives students an opportunity to enhance their |
| | mathematics, science, communications, and technological academic achievement, develop problem-solving and |
| | critical-thinking skills, and learn about careers in engineering, science and technology. Through classroom |
| | discussions, hands-on laboratory experimentation, computer activities, and field trips, participants are introduced to |
| | engineering concepts and applications to everyday life. |
