| Program Description: |
| | GlassRoots Inc. provides a rigorous curriculum of glassmaking and business skills training to area youth presently |
| | underserved in the visual arts and entrepreneurship by local schools and social service agencies. Through glass |
| | bead making, tile making, and cast glass as well as formal entrepreneurial training through the NFTE program, area |
| | teens realize their full potential. They are able to create beautiful handcrafted jewelry and household tile items that |
| | are appreciated by and sold to gallery visitors, thus raising the self-esteem of our young artists. |
