Program Description:

GlassRoots Inc. provides a rigorous curriculum of glassmaking and business skills training to area youth presently

underserved in the visual arts and entrepreneurship by local schools and social service agencies. Through glass

bead making, tile making, and cast glass as well as formal entrepreneurial training through the NFTE program, area

teens realize their full potential. They are able to create beautiful handcrafted jewelry and household tile items that

are appreciated by and sold to gallery visitors, thus raising the self-esteem of our young artists.
