| Program Description: |
| | The mission of the Upward Bound Program is to empower eligible high school students to increase their academic |
| | skills in order to achieve a higher education. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families or |
| | high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelors degree. Upward Bound provides |
| | instruction in math, science, composition, literature, and foreign language. |
