| Program Description: |
| | Bergen Community College and Ridgewood High School are collaborating on an initiative called "Health Careers |
| | Academy." This pathway will provide high school students the opportunity to take general education and science |
| | courses given by the College on its campus. While still in high school, student participants will be able to significantly |
| | expand their degree and career options by receiving college credit for these courses. This collaborative effort will |
| | strengthen student academic preparation, reduce the need for remediation and prerequisite course work, decrease |
| | time and financial requirements for students, and increase rates of graduation, certification and transfer. |
