NEW JERSEY
IPEDS SCHEDULE, 2008-09
The Integrated
Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is
the national data collection system for higher education. The
Commission’s Office of Finance and Research acts as the
coordinator for New Jersey. Participants in our Student
Unit Record (SURE) system have significant portions
of their federal IPEDS surveys completed by the Commission.
In addition to completing surveys during the three IPEDS web-based
collections, New Jersey institutions are required to complete
additional state-specific forms via email submission of Excel
spreadsheets. The schedule for this year’s IPEDS reporting
cycle follows.
JULY
28, 2008: Changes to IPEDS forms 2008-09 through 2010-11

25, 2008: NCES announcement outlining
additional changes
to
the 2008-09 IPEDS data collection: (Due to legislative
mandate, all of these changes are mandatory for 2008-09
IPEDS.)
