NJN's Director of Media Sponsorship Steve Priolo presents an Emmy Nomination to Jane Lorber, chair of the Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund Commission, for its general service announcement (GSA), one of only three nominees from 3,000 submitted. To raise public awareness, the GSA features a CICRF recipient family testimonial of how the Fund helps relieve financial burdens from a child's illness. The GSA runs on NJN-TV adjacent to children's programs, prime time features and the New Jersey Lottery and is an important component of CICRF's public information efforts.
