New Jersey Child Care Advisory Council Holds Annual Reorganization

( Tina Foley and Allan Lamboy - elected Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively, at the October meeting of the New Jersey Child Care Advisory Council – preside over their first full CCAC meeting of 2007. )

 

TRENTON , NJ - Incoming chair of the New Jersey Child Care Advisory Council (CCAC), Tina Foley, presided over the CCAC annual reorganization meeting at The Children's Home Society of NJ in Trenton , on January 17, 2007 .  At the CCAC October meeting, Foley (above left) was elected to the office of Chair, and Allen Lamboy (above right) was elected Vice-Chair for a second term.

Foley represents Catholic Charities of Metuchen and Foley's Family Daycare; and Lamboy is with the Non-Profit Finance Fund.

Terri Buccarelli (seen above left with Tina Foley and Allen Lamboy), Executive Director of the Office of Early Care and Education (OECE), which operates out of the NJ Department of Human Services, serves by statute as the Coordinator of CCAC.

The reorganization session covered explanation of committee roles and appointment or reappointment of committee chairs.  Each committee held a short organizational meeting as well.

The Council is in its 23rd year of service to New Jersey 's children and early childhood professional.  Meetings are open to the public.  The next meeting will be held on February 21 at The Children's Home Society of NJ.
