The Council functions as a resource to the Division through which to communicate and collaborate with “consumers” in fulfilling its mission of developing and sustaining a system of client-centered care. Members participate in meetings and/or teleconferences and on subcommittees as necessary as a means to consult with DAS on the development of policies and procedures to be more client-centered and recovery oriented.
