training services, which help individuals with basic vocational
skills, such as those needed to develop social skills, manage money,
and take care of their homes Extended employment at sheltered
workshops, where individuals receive work-related training,
such as learing how to package and assemble products, as well as
job counseling and job referrals.
Supported employment services include on-site
job coaches; crew work, in which an individual works as part of
a peer group; and arrangements in which a consumer can sample different
jobs to find a good "fit."
