Commissioner Convenes Dual Diagnosis Task Force
From the March Issue (8 th Edition) of DDD Today.
Responding to the need to plan for services and supports for individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and mental health needs, Commissioner Jennifer Velez has convened a Dual Diagnosis Task Force . The Task Force will examine the serious service delivery issues - particularly in the area of crisis care - affecting adults and children with dual diagnosis, and their families in New Jersey . Comprised of individuals with developmental disabilities, along with family members, advocates, professionals and state officials, the core Task Force membership will be augmented by a number of subject matter experts from throughout the State.
