09.22.14 Webinar for Individuals and Families Scheduled
The Division of Developmental Disabilities has scheduled a webinar geared for adults with developmental disabilities who are receiving Division-funded services and their families. The webinar will discuss the new rate structure that was released in July, and is intended to assist individuals and families in understanding how the Division's shift to a fee-for-service system will impact their services.

09.17.14 Fee for Service Implementation Timeline and Accompanying Webinar Released
The Fee for Service Implementation Timeline (Part I: September, 2014 through January, 2015) is now available. There is also an accompanying pre-recorded Fee for Service Implementation Timeline Webinar, available in 4 parts on the DHS YouTube page, to assist stakeholders in understanding the timeline. (The webinar is not intended as a stand-alone presentation, and should be viewed along with the timeline itself.)
07.21.14 Fee For Service Implementation
A dedicated Fee For Service Implementation web page has been developed to provide FFS-related updates as the transition to a Medicaid-based fee-for-service system progresses over the coming months. A dedicated Fee For Service Helpdesk is also in place to respond to FFS-related questions: DDD.FeeForService@dhs.state.nj.us.

07.01.14 Self-Directed Respite
Temporary extensions of Self-Directed Respite have been granted on an individualized basis while agencies and families work toward identifying and training staff. The Division will not be able to continue granting extensions of Self-Directed Respite beyond September, 2014.
The last day to request an extension for September is September 15, 2014, and can be done by writing to DDD.SelfDirectedRespiteHelpdesk@dhs.state.nj.us.

A Central Registry of Offenders against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities was established in the Department of Human Services through bi-partisan legislative support and a law signed by Governor Chris Christie on April 30, 2010. Information can be found at Central Registry of Offenders against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities website.

The Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illness/Substance Use Disorder Treatment Work Group convened by the New Jersey Department of Human Services has posted its final report on the Division of Mental Health Services website, under Managed Behavior Health Organization.
07.18.13 Letter regarding unusual incident reporting related to youth up to age 21
Community Care Waiver (CCW) Waiting ListThe Department of Human Services' Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) maintains the Community Care Waiver Waiting List (Waiting List) and provides an annual update to all individuals who are in the Priority Category of the Waiting List regarding their status. Letters are not sent to individuals in the General Category of the Waiting List.
