Division of Developmental Disabilities
Standards for Supported Employment Services
Manual, Appendices and Forms
The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities supports the principles that people with developmental disabilities shall pursue meaningful and productive lives. DDD seeks to have them achieve full integration and inclusion in society through relationships and work--- in an individualized manner, consistent with the unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, and abilities of each individual.
“ Standards for Supported Employment Services 2007 ” establishes standards for the provision of supported employment services to people with developmental disabilities. It replaces the former “Supported Employment and Day Program Manual” that went into effect July of 2002. In addition to the “Standards for Supported Employment Services 2007”, DDD contracted Supported Employment Service Providers will follow the provisions set forth in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services Administrative Code 12:51-8.
Please forward any inquiries and/or requests for access to technical assistance to dp-se@dhs.state.nj.us . * Please note that Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and the Division of Developmental Disabilities, is currently under revision. It is recommended that Supported Employment Service Providers regularly check the DDD website http://www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ddd/index.html for updates to the manual and changes in policy and procedure .
