Information and Referral
The Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DDHH) serves as a
primary source in New Jersey for information and referral on topics
relating to deafness and hearing loss.
DDHH also publishes a newsletter called the Monthly
Communicator, which is mailed to more than 8,400 hard of
hearing people and professionals around the state. The newsletter
is an important source of information for people throughout New
Jersey who are deaf and hard of hearing and includes information
about cultural and social events and educational and employment
opportunities.
DDHH also maintains a library of pamphlets and
other literature on issues relating to deafness and hearing loss.
It publishes a number of resource pamphlets including "Organizations
Serving People with Hearing Loss in New Jersey" and "Interpreters
and the Deaf Community."
