Management Information Systems (MIS)
The Division’s MIS Coordinator functions as the DDS Webmaster. Email the webmaster at: Edmund.Armah@dhs.state.nj.us.
The MIS Coordinator also provides technology support to staff. He is responsible for computer application development, maintenance, and user support. This includes printers, hardware, software, upgrades and the Internet connections.
PCA Automated System...
One system used by DDS is the PCA automated system. This enables DDS to approve assignment of caregivers to consumers; tracks the hours and dollars spent to make sure consumers receive the care to which they are entitled; and monitors activity and quality of care given by the provider agencies who send home caregivers to help consumers with their activities of daily living.
