| HMO Performance Reports contain information on how well the Medicaid managed care plans served New Jersey's NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid clients. The Reports examine performance under the HMO's Quality Assurance Program, HEDIS performance measures and the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey. Each year participating HMOs are monitored using utilization, quality and member satisfaction measurement tools. These Reports give DMAHS an opportunity to compare the HMOs' performance to one another and, where possible, to the national averages of similar programs. |
