The Peer Recovery Warm Line

The Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) conducts on-going recruitment in several job categories to employ qualified individuals to work in our psychiatric hospitals.

Among them are:

  • Food Service
  • Housekeeping
  • Maintenance
  • Registered Nurses
  • Patient Care Providers (Human Services Assistants/Direct Care Workers)
  • Master's Level Social Workers
  • Psychiatrists (Board Eligible, Board Certified, Post Certified)
  • Psychologists

All of these positions offer competitive salaries and an excellent State benefits package including health insurance, 12 holidays and paid sick and vacation leave. A three-day workweek schedule is also available to RNs in many of our locations.

Candidates interested in housekeeping, maintenance, nursing and/or direct care positions are advised to visit TPH and fill out an application.  Applications must be completed in person during the application intake process, which takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30.a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the 1st floor of the Stratton Building. All visitors must check in with the security desk and show a valid driver's license. The Office of Human Resource (HR) is available to address any questions or concerns daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., when the office is closed for lunch.
