just off Route 31 in Glen Garner which is between Clinton
and Washington. There is a street sign on both 31 South and
North which reads "Senator Garrett W. Hagedorn Psychiatric
Hospital" at the turn-off point.
FROM EASTERN POINTS (Newark Area - approx. 45 miles):
Take 78 West to Exit 17 (marked "Clinton-Washington",
31 North). Turn right on Route 31 North to Glen Gardner (approx.
5 miles). Take second entrance into Glen Gardner at traffic
light. At this light turn right onto Sanatorium Road. Follow
road to top of hill following hospital signs, approx. 2 miles
to Administration Bldg.
FROM PATERSON AREA (approx. 50 miles):
Take Route 80 West to Route 287 (vicinity Parsippany). Proceed
South on 287 to Route 78 West. Proceed West on 78 to Exit
17 (marked "Clinton-Washington", Route 31 North).
Turn right on Route 31 North to Glen Gardner (approx. 5 miles).
Take second entrance into Glen Gardner at traffic light. At
this light turn right onto Sanatorium Rd. Follow road to top
of hill following hospital signs. Approx. 2 miles to Administration
Bldg.
FROM HACKETTSTOWN AREA (approx. 23 miles):
Take Route 57 West to Route 31 South approx. seven miles to
Glen Gardner. Take entrance into Glen Gardner at second traffic
light. At this light, turn left onto Sanatorium Rd. Follow
road to top of hill following hospital signs. Approx. 2 miles
to Administration Bldg.
FROM TRENTON AREA (approx. 36 miles):
Take Route 95 North in Pennsylvania to Route 31 North or Take
Route 295 North from South Jersey to Route 31 North to Glen
Gardner. Take second entrance into Glen Gardner at traffic
light. At this light turn right onto Sanatorium Rd. Follow
road to top of hill following hospital signs. Approx. 2 miles

FROM NEW BRUNSWICK AREA (approx. 35 miles):
Take Route 287 North to Route 78 West. Take 78 West to Exit
