Allan Boyer

Allan Boyer is a senior management executive with over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare and social service industries. He has an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly behavioral health.
Previous to his current position as CEO of Ancora State Psychiatric Hospital, Mr. Boyer has held senior executive positions at major healthcare systems including National Medical Enterprises; Charter Behavioral Health System; Monmouth Medical Center; Union Hospital; Catholic Community Services and Christ Hospital. In these positions, Mr. Boyer was responsible for and has developed expertise in strategic planning, business development, operations management, program development, budgeting and fiscal management, contracting, marketing and sales, network development, and development of service delivery systems.
Mr. Boyer also had a healthcare consulting company that provided consulting services in the areas of functional analysis, managed care contracting, operational and financial planning, strategic planning, business development, regulatory survey preparation and compliance, marketing/referral development and revenue enhancement. Mr. Boyer has also held adjunct professor positions at Kean University of New Jersey and Brookdale Community College.
