NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, which licenses home health agencies that employ home health aides, today provided the following information for patients, following inquiries regarding the potential closing of a home health agency that serves patients throughout northern and central New Jersey.
Patients who are without the care of a home health aide due to the potential closure of their primary home health aide provider, may call their managed care provider or if they participate in the Global Options Waiver, call 1-800-792-8820.
Another resource for alternative, state-licensed home health agencies in the area is the Home Care Association of New Jersey at 732-877-1100, or the Home Health Services Association of New Jersey at 732-864-7111.
