Vineland Developmental Center

The Vineland Developmental Center is a residential facility founded in 1888 for developmentally disabled females. Today the Center's population is approximately 500 women ranging from older adolescent through geriatric age residing in two campuses: East Campus on Landis Avenue and West Campus on Almond Road. This facility is located in the historical town of Vineland in the relaxed, southern part of New Jersey, midway between Philadelphia, Pa. and the Jersey shore, just off Route 55.

The primary mission of the Center is to provide and promote services that enhance the quality of life, as well as meet the individual needs of our ladies. We believe that all needs including medical, rehabilitative, social, vocational, recreational, and spiritual should be fulfilled within the society in which they live. Our residents live in individual cottages that make up a contemporary community environment. A multidisciplinary team guides and implements our many residential programs using the motto "Special Care for Special People".

We would love to have you join our team!
