The Commission heard from Kevin Graham from Tumbling Dice. Mr. Graham explained his interpretation of the regulations regarding volunteers at casino nights. He said that he was under the impression that as long as the volunteers had training (he provides 3 hours of training for each of the volunteers,) that they would be able to run a table. He said that it benefits the organizations as they do not need to hire as many dealers and organization members can see a "friendly" face behind the table.

Mr. Graham was informed that as the Commission’s regulations provide that a volunteer may assist a licensed dealer, but not deal or pay out. Volunteers are not regulated and background checks are not run on them, and the prizes can run up to $100,000.00.

The Commission determined to review any options that are presented by the LGCCC staff to determine whether changes are appropriate.
