Advanced Practice Nurse
Reinstatement of Certification Instructions

Steps to Follow:

1. Reinstate your Registered Professional Nurse license first because you are required to be licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in order to be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

2. Upon renewal of your Registered Professional Nurse license, please request that an Advanced Practice Nursing Reinstatement Application be e-mailed to you through the following e-mail address to the Advanced Practice Nursing Department at the Board of Nursing: apn@dca.lps.state.nj.us
