Application for Certification as a Medical Gas Piping Installer Through Grandfathering - Must show three (3) consecutive years of experience between January 7, 2001 and January 7, 2004; and, Pass the N.I.T.C. Medical Gas Installer Examination OR Pass a Brazer Examination Offered by the A.W.S. and Complete a Training Program in Installation Approved by a Major Medical Gas Producer. $75.00 Application fee required with application.
2. Application for Certification of Individual Performing Brazing Incidental to the Installation, Improvement, Repair or Maintenance of Medical Gas Piping Through Grandfathering - Must show three (3) consecutive years of experience between January 7, 2001 and January 7, 2004; and, Pass the N.I.T.C. Brazing Processes Examination OR Pass a Brazer Examination Offered by the A.W.S. and Complete a Training Program in Brazing of Medical Gas Piping Approved by a Major Medical Gas Producer. $75.00 Application fee required with application.

Application for Certification as a Medical Gas Piping Instructor - Must qualify as a Medical Gas Piping Instructor; Complete a 40 Hour Course that Covers the Most Recent Edition of the ASSE Series 6050 Professional Qualifications Standards for Medical Gas Systems Instructors; Pass the N.I.T.C. Medical Gas Instructor Examination; OR, Pass a Brazer Examination Offered by the A.W.S. and a Training Program in Instructional Training Approved by a Major Medical Gas Producer. $75.00 Application fee required with application.

Application for Certification as a Medical Gas Piping Installer - Must qualify as a Medical Gas Piping Installer; Provide Two (2) Affidavits Attesting to Applicant’s Good Moral Character; Complete 32 Hours of Classroom Training in the Most Recent Edition of the ASSE Series 6010 Professional Qualification Standards for Medical Gas Systems Installers; Pass the N.I.T.C. Medical Gas Installer Examination; OR Pass a Brazer Examination Offered by the A.W.S. and a Training Program in Installation Approved by a Major Medical Gas Producer. $75.00 Application fee required with application.
5. Application for Certification to Perform Only Brazing Incidental to Installation of Medical Gas Piping - Must qualify as a Brazer; Provide Two (2) Affidavits Attesting to Applicant’s Good Moral Character; Complete 20 Hours of Classroom Training Related to the Performance of Brazing Duties Required to Install, Improve, Repair or Maintain Medical Gas Piping Including 10 Hours in Practical, Hands-On Experience in Brazing; Pass the N.I.T.C. Brazing Processes; OR Pass a Brazer Examination Offered by the A.W.S. and Complete a Training Program in Brazing of Medical Gas Piping Approved by a Major Medical Gas Producer. $75.00 Application fee required with application.
