Consumer Affairs Newsletter Debuts
NEWARK – The first edition of “Consumer Wise,” the newsletter of the Division of Consumer Affairs, has debuted and is available for review on the Division’s web site.
Consumer Wise, which will be published every other month, contains alerts about the latest scams targeting consumers, updates on pending lawsuits filed by the Division and tips and advice for consumers.
“This newsletter is another way for us to get the word out to consumers,” said David Szuchman, Consumer Affairs Director. “Knowledge is power, especially in the marketplace, and we want to provide New Jersey’s consumers with the facts and information they need.”
Consumer Wise can be viewed at http://www.njconsumeraffairs.com/consumerwise.pdf. The newsletter will available only on the internet and will not be printed by the Division as a cost-saving measure.
