In
1976 Staino was convicted of: (1) possession of a controlled dangerous
substance (CDS), conspiracy to possess CDS and possession of CDS
with intent to distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 24:21-20(a)(1),
24(a) and 19(a)(1), for which he was sentenced to 2 to 3 years in
prison, and (2) mail fraud and conspiracy in violation of 18 U.S.C.A.
1341 and 1342 for which he received, among other things, a custodial
sentence of a year and a day in prison.
On March 18, 1980, Staino was evicted from Bally's Park Place Casino
for disorderly conduct. |
