Advisory for Wed., June 1
“It’s-4-U-NJ-9/11”
Program to Host Career Resilience Workshops
Free
Workshop Begins at 7:00p.m. |
|
WHAT:
The Division of Criminal Justice and University
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s
University Behavioral HealthCare, will
be hosting several free workshops as part
of the “It’s-4-U-NJ”
program. These two-hour “Finding
a Job from the Inside Out: Growing from
Your 9/11 Experience” workshops
provide techniques on how to move forward
with your career when affected by issues
remaining from 9/11. For NJ residents,
9/11 happened where we work. It changed
the way we go to work, the way we think
about work and the way we look for work.
If you lost your job after 9/11, or are
looking for a comparable job in New Jersey
and finding that the process is raising
emotional issues for you, this program
can be a positive step in the process
of moving ahead.
The “It’s-4-U-NJ” program
provides free information, support and
counseling services to New Jersey residents
still impacted or affected by post-9/11
events. The statewide counseling and support
program is sponsored by the University
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s
University Behavioral HealthCare and the
Attorney General’s Division of Criminal
Justice. The established
“It’s-4-U-NJ” hotline
- 1-866-4-U-NJ-911
(1-866-486-5911) is staffed
by clinicians and survivor peers to provide
information, support and crisis intervention
to all callers.
More information regarding these workshops
and other “It’s-4-U-NJ”
materials can be found at www.4UNJ911.org.
