Current:

N.J.S.A. 10C-24 of the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) requires the New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board to audit annually the submissions and conduct of at least ten percent of the total number of Licensed Site Remediation Professionals. The audit process began January 2012.

At the March 19, 2012 meeting, the Board approved a revised audit process and audit questionnaire.

At the May 29, 2012 meeting, the Board approved a revised audit process, which updates the procedure for auditing Board members.

At its April 16, 2012 meeting, the Board temporarily suspended the license of the following individual for failing to pay the annual license fee. The Board will lift a suspended license for failing to pay the annual fee if the fee is paid prior to December 31, 2012. During the term of the license suspension, an individual may not act, advertise or hold him or herself out as an LSRP. *William M. Parry, License No. 512627

  • 8/5/2013 Announcement: At its August 5, 2013 meeting, the Board authorized the New Jersey Attorney General, Division of Law to pursue a temporary restraining order, monetary penalties and all other appropriate relief in Superior Court against Edward Korab of Thorndale, Pennsylvania. The Board is alleging that Edward Korab who is not an LSRP, represented himself as such in submissions to the Department of Environmental Protection.

  • The Professional Conduct Committee of the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board held an Open Forum on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. to present the latest disciplinary flowchart and to obtain feedback from interested individuals. The Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) enumerates the financial powers and duties of the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board as follows:

  • To establish and collect fees for examinations, licenses, renewals, or any other services required for the licensing of site remediation professionals;
  • The filing of an application [for a license] shall be accompanied by an application fee that shall cover the costs of processing the application and developing and conducting the examinations;
  • The [Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board] may also charge an annual license fee that shall cover the costs of the licensing program.
