- To inspect
and classify materials and equipment to determine specific repair requirements
and to assure quality control is accomplished in all maintenance and
repairs performed by this shop, in a manner consistent with most economical
and expeditious method.
- The inspection
and quality control section will consist of assigned inspectors for
normal shop operation, supplemented by additional personnel in order
to expedite other assigned duties such as COMETS, MAIT, etc.
- Inspectors
make assurance possible through inspections at every stage, from initial
inspection to in-process through final into acceptance phase.
