The J-4 (Logistics) maintains overall program management for all installation and command aspects of the Army National Guard logistics program less aviation management. Logistics include supplies, services, maintenance and transportation support to all Army National Guard units, installations and activities.
The J-4 is responsible for overall logistics program management, policies, resources and ensures the logistical readiness for all Army National Guard units upon mobilization. Also maintains oversight responsibility for logistics programs to ensure compliance with Federal and State environmental policies and requirements as it pertains to logistics. In essence, the J-4 is responsible to provide the supplies, services, maintenance and transportation where and when these services are required for the New Jersey Army National Guard.
