Hunting and Fishing Licenses
The Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has designated the General Services Bureau NJDMAVA as a license-issuing agent for the issuance of the year 2000 hunting and fishing licenses. In order to expedite the process, individuals are encouraged to submit applications with a self-addressed stamped envelope. All applications will be submitted by mail from active National Guard members to NJDMAVA IASD-ASB-RALV and license will be issued by return mail to member. In order to prove active membership in the NJNG; the original of the member's Leave and Earning Statement (LES) or MyPay must be forwarded with any application. The LES must be dated within 90 days of the application and show active training during that period. Copies of LES are NOT accepted. Correct application must be submitted. Only National Guard applications will be accepted. Do not submit applications found in Fish and Wildlife Digest or applications available at local hunting sales offices. Applications may be photo copied at local level but may not be changed in any form. An original pervious license of the type applied for, or an original NJ Hunter Safety Training course Card for the type of license applied for, must be submitted with the application. The original pervious license must contain the written information part of the license. Copies of previous license are not accepted. A previous license is not required for issue of a fishing license. Incorrect or incomplete applications, applications submitted without original previous license or NJ Hunter Safety Course Card for the type of license applied for, applications submitted with out original LES showing active training within 90 days of application will be rejected. Hunter Education Course Cards must be surrendered when license is issued unless the card contains a tear-off stub with the course serial number.
