4-H CLUB FOR MILITARY YOUTH

We would like to let you all know about the next 4-H Club we will be holding at the Joint Military & Family Assistance Center in Bordentown (JMFAC - 1048 US Highway 206  Bordentown, NJ 08505)

WHO:  Military youth in grades 5th through 8th

WHAT:  The 5 week program will focus on 2 elements; cooking and water.  Each week the group will work together on a project that either has a cooking lesson or a water themed activity. 

WHEN:  Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm.  The dates are May 29 and June 5, 12, 19 and 26.

WHERE:  Joint Military & Family Assistance Center in Bordentown (JMFAC - 1048 US Highway 206  Bordentown, NJ 08505)

Parents are always willing to attend every week but we do ask that you plan on attending the first and last class with your child.  On the first week, we will be going over the group dynamics and expectations.  For this 5 week session (and all future sessions), we are going to be a chartered Burlington County 4-H Club.  With this, the youth will need to come together to create a Club name and elect officers. 

If you or your child(ren) are interested, please fill out the attached permission slip and return to Nicole or myself as soon as possible. 

NJ National Guard Youth Camp 2013
We will be having Youth Camp again this year at Sea Girt.  Youth ages 9-14 pay $150.00 for the week's festivities and Volunteers ages 15 and up are free.  We are currently working on the website to upload the 2013 applications as there are some changes and notes that need to be added.  We hope to have it online no later than 15 February.  Please stay posted.
