According to Monmouth County, the Clayton Award honors individuals who, over a substantial number of years, have made exceptional contributions to an awareness, understanding, and/or preservation of the history of Monmouth County.

Mr. Bilby, who also served as a lieutenant with the First Infantry Division in Vietnam, has worked in the museum since 2005.  Admission is free and open to the public.  The Main Museum in Sea Girt is open seven days a week from 10:00AM – 3:00PM and the Lawrenceville Annex is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00AM – 3:00PM.
