Pfc. Kube
and Pvt. Bartholomew have been assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters
Company, 1st Battalion, 114th Infantry, located at the National Guard
Armory in Woodbury. They will attend Basic Training together through the
Battle Buddy Program at Fort Benning, Ga., and after completing Basic;
they will begin advanced individual training as an Indirect Fire Infantryman.
The indirect fire infantryman serves as a member of a mortar squad, section,
or platoon.
